Hi there! I’m Avalanche—just a 6-week-old, male 13lb hunk of fluffy joy, and I’m ready to rock your world. You know how a snowstorm rolls in and it’s all chaos and excitement? That’s basically me, but with way more cuddles and way less shoveling. 🐾
I’m part of the Winter Weather Litter (that’s right, we’re the big deal), and we’ve got names like Fluff, Powder, Ice, and Cloudy. We’re a storm of cuteness, and I’m here to make sure your heart is blanketed with joy. My mama, Crystal, wandered to a nice human’s property, gave birth to us, and now we’re living the dream in a foster home full of love. ❄️ I’m a happy-go-lucky guy, which is just a fancy way of saying I’m always ready to play, but I’m also a total cuddle monster. I get along great with other dogs (especially my Pyr sibling) and will definitely keep you entertained with my curious and friendly nature.
I’m the definition of happy-go-lucky! One minute, I’m all about playtime, and the next, I’m ready to chill and snuggle. Whether we’re zooming in the yard or you’re just relaxing on the couch, I’m there for the fun and then totally down for some quality down-time. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s as fun as a snowball fight but knows how to melt into cuddle time, then I’m your guy! Would I do well in a home with kids? Heck yes! 👧🧑🎉 I’m all about the fun, and kids? Well, they’re the best. I love the excitement, the laughter, and the chance for extra snuggles when we wind down. I’m just a big ol’ ball of joy, so if you have little ones, I’ll fit right in with my playful, happy-go-lucky personality! Public outings? Let’s go! 🌳🐾 I’m all about getting out and about! Pet stores, cafes, or social visits? You name it—I’m ready. My excitement levels are through the roof when I see new people and places, so you can count on me to bring the fun wherever we go (once I am a bit older that is ;) . If staying in sounds like your jam, it’s mine too! I’m just as happy hanging out at home with my favorite humans as I am exploring new spots. Just bring the cuddles and toys, and I’ll be content! When I meet new people, I can’t help but wiggle my whole body in excitement. If you’ve got a guest over, get ready for some serious tail wags and puppy love because I’m all about spreading joy and making new friends.
I’m more of a "run around in a big yard" kind of guy. I need space to stretch my puppy legs, chase toys, and just be my playful self. So, if you’re living in an apartment, you might want to think twice—unless, of course, you’ve got an indoor puppy playground, which, let’s be real, would be amazing. Okay, let’s be honest: I’m still figuring out where the bathroom is, so no guarantees I’ll make it outside every time just yet. But hey, I’m a quick learner, and with a little patience and some treats, I’ll get the hang of it soon enough! I’m a puppy, and while I’m still getting used to my crate, I’ve got the basics down. I’m still working on my barks, but I’ve definitely got some puppy talk going on. It's more of a cute, high-pitched “Hey, look at me!” rather than full-on barking.
So, curious about what you are signing up for should you adopt me? You know that one friend who pretends they don’t hear you? Yeah, that will be me. Don’t be surprised when I completely ignore your call to come inside but respond to the rustle of a chip bag. You’ll get used to it, I promise. Oh, and Pyrs don’t know the meaning of “too close.” You’ll have a shadow 24/7—and someone who believes they fit into your lap...no matter how big they grow. ;) I’ll eventually grow into these giant paws. But until then, prepare for clumsy and uncoordinated moments. Get ready for a never-ending supply of fluff. It’s like living with a perpetual snowstorm. And guess what? My fur is magic—it can find its way into every nook and cranny of your house, car, and even your coffee cup.
So what happens next? Well, I would hope that you would submit an adoption app for me. You can find the app on the rescue's website, message them for it, or find it in the comments below.
I am being fostered in ✨Oolagah, OK✨ so if you live outside the area..no worries. Just be prepared to pack for a road trip because this rescue doesn't send us on transports. So, both they and I will be expecting you to come pick me up. And what better way to start the bonding process than with a road trip?!
I know you're probably dying to take me home right now. But here’s the thing: I won’t be ready to leave until after Christmas. Yep, I know—total heartbreaker, right? But I promise, it'll be worth the wait!
In the meantime, enjoy a holiday season filled with visions of me... and start practicing your puppy snuggles now. 🎄🐾
Catch me after Christmas... I’ll be worth the wait! 🐾❤️
