Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Merced is one year old dilute calico cat, as sweet and gentle as a kitty can be - and just look at that face! She and her kittens were saved from a high kill shelter, just in the nick of time. Someone stepped in to foster Merced and her little ones so they could quickly adjust to indoor life. It takes a village!
Merced has been a wonderful mama to four adorable kittens. Now that they are raised and about to fly the coop, she is ready to live her own life. As a young mom, she was so busy surviving outside, protecting her kittens, all alone and scared, that only recently has she had the chance to feel safe and loved. Merced is enjoying learning the art of play and she is quite the lapcat protégé! PS: she loves chin scritches!
Because of Merced's gentle spirit, she may be better off in a quiet home, with friendly female cats (since all of her kittens were female) who are unlikely to want to push her around! She adores her foster parent and may also do well as a single cat.
Our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.
All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.
We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
