My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Requirement: Cannot be home alone longer than 3 hours.

Meet Emu, a smart, spunky, and independent little Cattle Dog mix who’s ready to take on the world one treat at a time! At just three months old, Emu is already showing her intelligence and eagerness to learn. She’s mastered basic commands like `sit` and `heel,` and walks nicely on a leash without pulling—especially when there’s a tasty reward involved. She’s a food lover at heart, making her training sessions a breeze, and she’ll happily run into her crate when there’s a treat waiting inside.

Emu is also well on her way with house training—she knows to go outside, but if she can’t hold it, she’s quick to use a puppy pad without any fuss. When it comes to playtime, she loves hanging out with her sister, and the two are well-matched in their give-and-take games. Emu is a little brainiac, solving puzzle toys in record time, and she enjoys having a mental challenge just as much as physical play.

Although she’s independent, Emu knows how to enjoy a cuddle when she’s in the mood. Otherwise, she’s content to retreat to her bed for a well-deserved nap. While she’s still learning the ropes with other dogs, Emu has met a couple of older dogs and got along well. She’s still figuring out doggy boundaries, though, and can sometimes be a little persistent in trying to initiate play with a friendly bark.

Like all puppies, Emu is still exploring her world with her mouth, so she’s been caught chewing on things she shouldn’t—though we’re confident she’ll outgrow this phase as she continues to learn and mature.

Emu is a wonderful mix of sweet and stubborn, playful and smart, with a heart full of potential. If you`re looking for a clever, treat-motivated companion who’s ready to learn and grow, Emu might be your perfect match!
