ADOPTABLE JELLY ROLL ALERT! Abandoned sick at our NC vet partner, this chonky puppy has been in foster in since early Nov. She learned her basic cues with treat-based R+ training, is acclimated to a crate and is happiest when playing with the two resident dogs and four cats! She is a dream of a puppy - happy, loving and well tempered!
Our partners in NC have been overwhelmed with Hurricane Helene needs. While we are on a pull hold through the end of the year due to our unstable financial situation, compounded by the needs of our current cases, the timing of this ask gave us pause to consider if we could add just one more. As the rescue community is reeling from the recent loss of Pilot Seuk Kim, whose fatal plane crash during a rescue mission broke our collective hearts, we felt compelled to stretch ourselves for this little soul as a way to honor Seuk’s life and the incredible work he did to help save the lives of dogs in need.
With this, we are thrilled to introduce our last #OneLuckyPup case of 2024, a little round baby girl we aptly named PUMPKIN! Around 3-4 months old, this delightful puppy will be making her way up to us in NY the week of Dec. 9 as transport details are arranged to get her up from NC. She has two rounds of vaccines and is microchipped. Her adopter will be required to have her spayed before she is 7 months old.
