These pups were born near a lake cabin and were about two weeks old when they and their mom Honey came to us. We are not breeders. They are true fosters. Honey, a purebred German Shepherd, will be available for adoption also after her two girl pups are weaned.
Honey was a dump job when she was pregnant and another rescue got her to us after her pups were born. She only had these two pups. They made sure they looked around and these were all Honey had so no worries there were pups left behind. They weren't.
Honey is very sweet, mellow and a very nice dog. She is a very small Shepherd about 45 pounds. She is an exceptional mom.
These puppy girls are being handled and loved until they are weaned so they are friendly and happy. They are also being socialized with other dogs.
They will be available for adoption in the middle of January and folks will sign an adoption contract to take them home.
