Take the Pet Home
- Smart boy, knows sit
- Loves going on walks and does best with a harness
- Loves to learn and has great focus - especially if you have treats - so would be a lot of fun to train
- Active dog who is ready to accompany you on all your adventures; looking for a family who loves being active just like them
- Recently went on a Dog's Day Out field trip and had a great time with her human companions: "Colin is such a gem! He was so well mannered once he got some energy out. He loves car rides and would be perfect on any road trip! He's big on cuddling and a certified lap dog. There wasn't a single time that he barked or lunged at anything, but he was aware of other wildlife and people when we were out and about. He loved playing fetch and was very concerned with where my partner and I were, so he'll be very attentive to his new family."
- Tends to be a linebacker-type player with other dogs, which some dogs may not appreciate; will likely do best with a select group of rough-and-tumble dog friends with a similar play style (dog intro recommended)
- Needs a teens and above home
All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)
- The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
Primary Color: Brown Brindle
Secondary Color: White
Weight: 58
