My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hola Amigos! It's me Rosa---I am an 8 year old / 8 lb little shih tzu girl in search of my forever home. I came from a not so great place called the " shelter" where some kind folks realized I was scared to death of the noise and smells and.....oh well --you get the picture. Thankfully the girls at FCCR came to my rescue and now I am in a loving foster home until my forever home is identified. Foster mommy says I am a super sweet little girl and my "funny walk" ( due to a long ago unattended injury ) makes me all the more cuter- it certainly doesn't stop me from anything ..except maybe jumping on furniture or the front seat of her car---I need assistance with that! I get along great with other dogs and cats , but I am happiest when my human is around and I can give and receive lots of snuggles. If interested in making me part of your family please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $350.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
