My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Howdy folks! My name is Spicy and I am a 4 year old 6 lb chihuahua boy in search of my special forever home. Foster mommy gave me the name Spicy because...oh well...I guess my personality is spicy and lively! When I first came into rescue I was afraid of the world and acted out , but with lots of love and patience from my foster mommy , I have been healed of many of my past traumas that made me a little handful. Now I am ready for my next and best part of my journey---a forever home! I get along great with all dogs, am still afraid of loud noises, and will forever be a little high strung around kids so please...NO KIDS. I love playing in the yard and running around like a little madman...but then again I am a chi and that's what we do...we are as much lively as we are lovely...and I am tiny so you know I have to stand out one way or the other from the "crowd." If interested in adopting me please fill out an application at www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $350.00

More about this rescue

Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue (FCCR) is a non-profit organization located in SW Florida. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing Cocker Spaniels throughout the state of Florida and neighboring states. We rely 100% on donations and volunteers to help us take care of our dogs. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines and rabies, heartworm tested, flea and heartworm treatment, and microchip.

FCCR carefully screens all of our potential furever and foster homes to ensure that our pups will have safe and loving homes. Some of our dogs come from shelters and abusive situations and we want to make sure that they will only see love the rest of their lives.
