Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Nala is a big beautiful girl looking for her furever home! Some good samaritans watched someone push her out of the backseat of a car on a backroad and quickly picked her up so she wouldn't be left wandering in the middle of nowhere. She was pretty thin but she is quickly putting on weight! Her finders even took her to the vet for a checkup and a Rabies vaccine! she does well with all the other dogs here at the shelter and doesn't seem to mind cats either! She LOVES to go on car rides despite the trauma from the people who dumped her. She even went on a supply run to Walmart with us and was an absolute angel! She loved meeting all the kids, workers and elderly people in the cart scooters since they were eye level with her and she could give better kisses. She is such a gentle giant and would do great in a home with kids of all ages. She is very aware of her size and doesn't jump, push or try to knock anybody over. The only "quirk" about her is she can be protective of her home and people when other dogs come into the room yard but we don't think that's necessarily a bad thing! She does well on a leash but will sometimes pull if she gets distracted. She seems to be house and kennel trained since she doesn't potty in her kennel with us! Her adoption fee is reduced at $150 since she already has an up to date rabies vaccine, spay and microchip! She can go home same day!. Please call 618-833-4915 to set up an appointment to come meet her! Thank you! Are you interested in adopting this pet?
