Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Melody is a gorgeous 8-month old female kitty who arrived at HSOV on November 1, 2024 with her six siblings (Chococat Cinnamoroll, Gudetama, Hangyodon, Keroppi, and Pompurin).
This lovely little 'house panther' has a sleek black short smooth coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a beautiful face with dark golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
Melody was given vaccinations and wormer on November 1, 2024. She weighed 5.8 lbs that day. Melody was given flea treatment on November 8th, and she was given booster vaccines and Drontal wormer on November 14th.
Melody was a little shy when HSOV volunteer Carolyn Blanchard carried her into our 'studio' on November 9, 2024 but, within a few minutes of soft quiet conversations and gentle petting by Carolyn, Melody was soon showing her playful personality and engaged in playfully batting around a feathery/ribbon teaser toy to her heart's content.
Melody and several of her sisters are currently sharing a large cat tower in the lobby of our shelter. These girls will be spayed before being adopted. Naturally we'd love for them to be adopted in pairs since cats/kittens do so much better with a best friend.
Melody and her siblings are also available for rescue. Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
