Izzy is the most sweetest and absolutely the most beautiful, softest boy. Not too long ago, he showed up at one of our volunteers front porch where he knew where to find food as she feeds other cats that often visit her. He soon started meowing at her through the glass door to get her attention. She befriended him and within a week, he was trapped and brought to one of our BAA rescuers where it was definitely clear he did not belong outside, yet likely abandoned. He loves to be pet, especially his cheeks and chin and will head bump your hand as if asking for more attention. He has recovered from his neuter and now is in need of a foster home or and an adopter! He does not seem to mind all of the resident cats that are in the rescuers home surrounding home in his cage. He has been let out of his cage to run around and explore but there are bully cats that are not good with new rescues, so they chase him and scare him.
he would do best in a foster or adoptive home with one easy-going, playful cat or playful nice dog with proper, slow introduction. He can also go solo if his human(s) are home more than they are not.
Izzy is neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV and up-to-date on vaccines.
If you would like to meet Izzy, to either to foster or adopt him, please complete our foster or adoption application here and write Tara as his Rescuer! You will not regret it! https://brooklynanimalaction.org/foster-faq/

Thank you!

All Brooklyn Animal Action cats and dogs are available to adopt, foster and foster-to-adopt.
