Hi, I’m Missy, and it was an adventure getting here. I would love to share my story.
I arrived to Forever Fortunate Felines after the owners of a newly purchased, sight unseen, home began remodeling it. Little did they know… I was living in the WALLS! My owner had passed away and I was left behind, alone, living among trash and rodents. I wasn’t living my best life, let’s just say that.
Thankfully I was able to be taken in by a rescue. But medically, I was struggling. It took 3 vet visits and a lot of investigating to figure out what type of infection I had - it was likely due to eating infected rodents to survive. I also have a goofy gait due to something related to what I went through, but medically, no concerns! All in all, it took me about 2 months to recover. That’s how rough shape I was in.
Despite all of that, my one goal in life is being around people. I will climb into any and every lap I can. Head bumps? Yes please. Cradle me in your arms any time, any where! I just simply LOVE people. I will never be far from you. I have zero fear around strangers, noises, new places, etc. Being in the middle of everything is the BEST!
While in foster care I have seen other cats and have been curious! I could do well solo or with another very calm, older, small cat. I’m only 4 lbs… I’m tiny!
The vet estimated my age to be 12 - 13 years. But my full bloodwork shows I’m overall very healthy!
Please consider adopting me. I was clearly well loved before my owner passed away and I want to feel that love and adoration once again in a permanent, furever home. In return, I promise to fill your home with love and snuggles!
