Cosmo is a very lucky dog who was marked Euthanized at a West Tennessee shelter. He was traumatized at the shelter and would not relate to people very much or the other dogs. It's a form of emotional shelter shock and so often the dogs are judged and then killed by shelter personnel if not perfect. Cosmo definitely has a joy for life and now he wears a smile because he escaped death. This handsome boy is three and a half years old and weighs 50 pounds. He loves to play fetch and to bring back the ball. He is being treated for heartworm and is on his way to being rid of those. He is pretty much housebroken and he doesn't mind a crate. He is shy in some new situations. But we are very sure he will be a social butterfly soon. Cosmo needs a home that will let him shine and we do know that small dogs are not his comfort zone. He would love to have another dog play mate more his size or even children. If you are interested in changing this boy's life forever, write to critter cavalry rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us where you live.
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
