My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Johnny came to Cameron Animal Hospital with his mom and littermates when his previous owner could no longer care for the family. They sweet, affectionate puppies who are ready for their forever homes where they will be loved and adored.

Johnny and his littermates, Dana and Billy, are approximately 5 months old, and are small breed mixes - their exact breed is unknown. Mom, Meghan, is approximately 2 years old. They are all sweet and gentle with people, and love attention. The puppies have tons of energy and need to run and play outside on a daily basis. They will make great additions to active homes. Johnny and Billy have shown a tendency to chase cats, but Meghan and Dana are good with cats. The puppies have been good with other dogs, but Meghan has been slightly dog selective; because they all have so much energy they would not be good fits for an elderly dog. They have all been wonderful with all people that they've met. Because they are so small, they cannot be rehomed with very young children. They are all partially house-trained, and is eager to learn and please, and are quickly making progress.

Johnny and his littermates are tiny but mighty, and are very healthy. Their adoption includes their full series of Rabies vaccine, three DHLPPi (distemper) vaccines, and Bordetella vaccine; heartworm and tickbourne disease testing; heartworm and flea/tick preventive; fecal testing and deworming; dental cleaning; neuter/spay; microchip; and 30 days of free insurance.

Johnny will thrive in a home that has lots of time to spend with him, playing and cuddling, and of course spoiling him rotten. Please email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information.

**Please note that priority will be given to adopters in the Northern NJ area with a prior vet reference. Out of state/southern NJ adopters may apply, but must have a prior vet reference.

More about this rescue

Cameron Animal Hospital has been located on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, since 1936. The family-owned hospital is the first purposfully built animal hospital in the state of NJ, and provides veterinary services to cats, dogs, and other small animals, including rabbits, rats, ferrets, and more.

Cameron Animal Hospital is not a shelter, but works extensively with the rescue community in Essex County by providing veterinary care to local shelters, and finding homes to a variety of animals (cats, dogs, and small animals) who have come into our care.
