Say hello to the adorable little boy we are calling Rags. Rags arrived at the shelter on 10/26 as a lost pup and so far has not been reclaimed. He is a very energetic fellow but also attentive and eager to please. He will sit and lay down when asked but still needs to work on stay and his leash manners. He loves toys and likes to play ball. Rags is about 9 months old and weighs just 24 pounds. Rags did test positive for ringworm and has been treated for that and is all clear now. He is current on vaccines, tested negative for heart worms. He will be neutered and micro-chipped upon adoption. You will find him waiting in run 400 and his ID# is 5897.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
