My name is Maple!

Maple is a sweet girl who came to us after receiving treatment for heartworm. She has obviously not had an easy life. She is painfully thin, skittish around people, and initially seemed uncomfortable being indoors. It is amazing how much progress she has made in just a few days of coming to us! She has warmed up to everyone, and will follow her foster mom everywhere. She is very comfortable around the resident dogs and will try to play with them. She is thriving on a routine, good food, calm environment, and lots of love. Maple responded well to her heartworm treatment, and the vet believes she will live a long, healthy life.
