My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

▶ Relationship with dogs : Get along well with friends.
▶ Relationship with cats : He chased the cat when he took a walk.
▶ Relationship with people : He loves human. He has no problem with human at all.

▶ Walks on leash : He tends to pull the leash when he see some dogs, but other than that he is leash trained. (he loves fur friends)
▶ Special notes : He is still lovely puppy curious of everything in the world. He will be a perfect doggo with a lovable home with forever family. He will be a wonderful dog in the future.

Rescued story :

He is one of the puppy of a mother dog that was left in a garbage dump in a redevelopment zone. He was kidnapped by a dog dealer at the age of three months but found and is growing up in a safe temporary home. He has no problem, and he is getting to know the world after completing vaccination and neutering. He is an active and loving dog with a personality that loves his dog friends so much.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

All questionnaires need to be filled with your best knowledge

2.
Interview

Once your application is approved, you will be invited to an interview via Zoom meeting. Each interviews will take 15-30 minutes.

3.
Approve Application

You will receive an approval letter via email

4.
Pay Fee

Once the adoption fee is received, adopters will be invited to chatgroup where they can ask any questions to the current foster parents.

5.
Take the Pet Home

All adopters will be picking up their dogs at the designated airport.

Additional adoption info

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we can not provide meet and greets. All adopters must agree to surrender the pets BACK to Welcome Paws if the adopter no longer wants the pet. All adopters must agree to provide periodic update of the adopted pet. Instagram account is highly recommended. All adopters must sign up for GPS tracker for 6 months to avoid losing pets.

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized. Therefore, we can not provide the "meet and greet." Multiple video clips will be provided and we will help you walk through the steps to reassure the adopted dog and the adopter are the best match for each other. Some dogs are available for meet and greet if the dogs are fostered in the US.

WELCOME PAWS: KOREAN DOG RESCUE is a registered nonprofit charity organization run by all-volunteers who are dedicated to the animal welfares.

We rescue stray, neglected and abused animals, city sheltered animals and dog meat trade animals in South Korea. All of our pets are cared for by loving foster homes and receiving complete medical cares before they are ready to meet their FURever families. We find them best fitted home in the United States, Canada, and South Korea.

Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. We seek to support, empower, and provide high quality resources and educations to our adopters. Our success isn’t measured in terms of wealth or profit margin, but by the value we provide to those we serve.
