My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Star is a dazzling large-breed puppy with energy to spare and a heart full of potential. She’s looking for an experienced, active family who understands the needs of high-energy working or guardian breeds. Star thrives when given structure, activity, and plenty of mental challenges to keep her sharp and focused.

This lively girl isn’t a good fit for first-time dog owners or those unfamiliar with managing high-intensity breeds. Star needs a home without shared walls or apartments, as she can be vocal and has some separation anxiety. Her ideal family will have teenaged children or older who can help guide her as she grows and learns.

Star is still mastering her manners and will need help with improving her impulse control and addressing her mouthy and barky behaviours. To give her the best start in life, her new family must commit to three in-person training sessions with a certified positive reinforcement trainer before taking her home.

If you’re ready for an adventure-filled life with a devoted and energetic companion, Star is here to shine bright in your world!

~ This dog is under-socialized and will need slow, positive socialization at a pace that makes her comfortable.
