Howdy folks, my name is Oak and I just moved to New Jersey where I am having some fun in the colder weather, making new friends, and enjoying my new foster family! I am a handsome Australian Cattle Dog mix about 10 months old and weigh a healthy 39 lbs. My friend Pumpkin and I were dumped in San Antonio, both of us starving, skin and bones, covered with fleas, and when someone found us they turned us over to the city kill shelter. I weighed about 23 lbs at that time and I was a nervous wreck. Thankfully 4 Little Paws Rescue took us both so we could gain some weight, and decompress in a foster home.

I am a very sweet boy, still shy when I first meet you but once I’m feeling safe I am friendly with everyone young and old, dogs and cats, and I am starting to be playful and learn about doggy toys. I am affectionate and enjoy pets, tummy rubs, and sharing kisses. I am already housebroken and I know how to use a doggy door. I’m a good boy and looking forward to a wonderful future somewhere on the East Coast. Inquire about me today and bring me home!
