My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is a stunning, registered Standard Red Poodle (papers not guaranteed) with a personality as vibrant as her gorgeous coat. This young lady has lots of energy, making her a great match for an active family, but she's far from hyper. Ruby, who is 2-3 years old and 50 lbs, knows how to balance her enthusiasm with a laid-back demeanor, and she absolutely loves affection – belly rubs, ear scratches, you name it!

Ruby is great with kids, enjoying their playful energy and offering her sweet companionship in return. While her behavior around cats is unknown, Ruby is friendly and eager to bond with those around her.

She’s up to date on her shots, ensuring she's healthy and ready to become part of your family. Ruby is not yet spayed, but she’s more than ready to settle into her forever home.

If you’re looking for a loving, fun, and gentle addition to your household, Ruby is your girl. To apply to adopt Ruby go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application on a computer or laptop and let her personality steal your heart!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
