My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spice up your life with me! Hi, I’m Cinnamon! I made the journey here from Alabama to find my
forever home. I’m what I like to call the ‘perfect pup’ because I love to play but I will always get a good nap in. I’m hoping to bring joy and lots of love to my new family, as well as all the new
adventures to come. A few things you should know about me are:
● I have a spunky personality
● I’m super friendly!
● I’m very good at giving kisses

Don’t let this scare you but some of my siblings that I’ve been living with tested positive for ringworm. Just to be safe we are all getting treated with daily medication and weekly bathes since we’ve been exposed. We are awaiting two consecutive negative results two weeks apart to complete treatment per our veterinarians recommendations. I’m looking for my forever family before I get too old and even better to spend the holidays with! My friends at Warrior Dog will cover my medical costs regarding this while I finish up treatment and testing but they said I can still come live with you in the mean time.

There’s a lot more to me that I’d love to show you in person. All you have to do is come to see
me! I’ll try to wait patiently but I’m so excited to meet you!
--------------------------------------------
All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
