My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tank – Your New Adventure Buddy!

Tank is a playful and energetic boy with a zest for life and a heart full of love. This smart, lovable pup is ready to bring joy and fun to his forever home. Whether you're hiking a trail, splashing in the water, or simply lounging at home, Tank is the perfect companion.

At just the right balance of brains and brawn, Tank is crate trained, potty trained, and eager to please. He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is even cat-friendly! His love for water activities makes him a natural for beach days or afternoons at the lake, and he’s always up for a car ride to new adventures.

Tank is neutered, up-to-date on all his vaccinations, and in great health. He’s more than just a good boy—he’s a great one! If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and loving addition to your family, Tank is ready to be your new best friend.

While Tank is great with children, we believe he would thrive best in a home with older kids (10+). His playful energy and enthusiasm might be a bit too much for smaller children, as he could accidentally knock them over. Tank's ideal family will be ready to match his spirited personality and enjoy plenty of fun together!

To add Tank to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you!

Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.

We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms.

Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.

Go meet their pets

Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with foster families waiting for their adoption approval to keep our volunteers safe. We have scheduled transports leaving Houston every 2 weeks to deliver our adopted pets to Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Canada.

More about this rescue

Spring Branch Rescue is a Foster Based organization not a Shelter. This makes the transition into your home a lot easier. We know our adoptable pets well because they have lived with our fosters. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest and Texas.
