Freddy the Petite, Deaf Sweetheart
Meet Freddy, a little bundle of sweetness with a whole lot of personality! This petite girl may have a few unique challenges, but her loving nature more than makes up for them. Freddy was found in the rain and, though it took some time for her to trust people, she’s now a talkative and affectionate companion once she warms up to you. She’s quick to let you know when it’s meal time—hence her fun name, Ready Freddy! Her meows will be a sweet reminder that she’s always keeping an eye (and ear) out for dinner.
As a deaf kitty, Freddy has a unique way of experiencing the world, which may make her a bit shy and defensive, especially with other cats. She tends to chase and pounce on them, likely because of her limited ability to hear, which can make her feel more on edge. That said, she’s not bothered by the Pomeranian in her foster home, showing that she can be comfortable with the right companion. Freddy may also have some vision issues, as she sometimes ducks away if someone reaches for her too quickly. A vet visit revealed some narrowing in the blood vessels in her eyes, though further investigation is needed to confirm any diagnosis.
Freddy would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. She’s a wonderful little cat who craves attention, pets, and affection. While she may need a bit more time to adjust and understand her surroundings, once she trusts you, Freddy will be a loyal and loving companion. If you’re looking for a kitty who’s ready to give and receive lots of love, Freddy is the perfect fit!
We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. All cats and kittens available for adoption have been spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given a rabies vaccine. Our adoption fees also cover lifetime microchip registration.
