My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Winnie -

This beefy little nugget has a heart bigger than her tiny body! She's potty trained but still figuring out how to ask to go out so she needs a more watchful eye. A champion sleeper, she loves a lazy morning but is always up for an adventure when the time comes. She's great with other dogs and enjoys running, playing and having fun, but she can also entertain herself when needed.

She's still learning manners and leash skills, but she's crate trained and eager to please. Whether you have other pups for her to befriend or you're looking for a perfect "starter dog", she'll fit right in with her sweet, adaptable nature.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Whether a potential adopter meets the dog at an adoption event or sees them online, we need an adoption application to begin the process

2.

Interview

The second step is a phone call so I can tell the adopter all about the dog, and find out more about their lifestyle.

3.

Home Check

The most important step! All members of the house hold need to be there. I check the yard and the home.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

We let them know we will keep the dog chipped to us and that if they can't keep the dog, he/she comes back to us. Adoption fee is collected

5.

Take the Pet Home

We check in with a couple days, a couple weeks and a month after they adopt to make sure the dog is adjusting well and give any help needed

Additional adoption info

Step 1 - submit an application
Step 2 - Have a phone interview
Step 3 - Home check
Step 4 - Sign adoption contract
Step 5 - Take your new family member home.
Step 6 - We will be checking in a couple days, a couple weeks and a month post adoption to make sure the dog is adjusting to his/her new home.
