Hi! I'm Margarita!

I am a stunning feathered beauty looking for a loving home with the perfect perch to call my own! While my journey hasn’t been the easiest, I’m an independent gal who loves observing the world around me. I’m not quite ready to cozy up with those big things called hands just yet, but with time, patience, and love, I believe I can learn to trust.  I have a powerful voice, and I’m not shy about showing it off—it’s one of my best features! Some of my favorite things include savoring my pellets, enjoying freedom outside my enclosure, and flying to my heart’s content (flying is absolutely my favorite!). Oh, and green? Best color ever! I’d thrive in a home without those big, hairy, and drooly creatures called dogs (not my vibe). Other birds are fine, as long as they respect my personal space—I do appreciate a little “me time.” I am still learning to trust people, but I know there’s a special human out there who will take the time to win me over. My foster mom reminds me every day how gorgeous I am (and she’s not wrong!), and with her encouragement, I’m making progress one step at a time.
