Tortilla is up for adoption, or she qualifies for our Furever Foster program. For more information on our Furever Foster program go to https://junesseniorcatrescue.org/foster-a-cat/
Tortilla came to us from the Torrance County Animal Shelter where she turned up as a stray. She had a microchip, but the owner did not want her anymore. Poor Tortilla, who was born in 2010, no longer had a home to go home to and life in a shelter for an older gal isn’t good either. We took her into our rescue in hopes of finding a forever home for her. Tortilla is spayed, up to date on her shots, negative for FeLV/FIV, and microchipped.
Here is what her foster mom says about her:
**Meet Tortilla: The Sweet Senior with a Heart of Gold**
Tortilla is a charming, affectionate, and playful senior tortoiseshell cat looking for her forever home. Despite her age and being diagnosed with kidney disease, Tortilla’s spirit is as strong as ever! She loves to play with toys, curl up for cozy cuddles, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
**What Tortilla Needs:**
- A peaceful, quiet home where she can soak up all the attention she deserves.
- A loving family who can provide the care she needs to manage her kidney disease.
- Tortilla would thrive as the only pet, as she prefers to be the center of attention and would rather not share her space with other animals.
**Why You’ll Love Her:**
- Tortilla has an adorable personality that shines through, even with her health challenges.
- Tortilla’s playful moments will bring joy to any household.
- With her soft tortoiseshell fur and beautiful eyes, she’ll melt your heart every day.
Tortilla may be a senior, but she’s got plenty of love left to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to share your days with, Tortilla just might be the perfect
