To speed the adoption process, visit our website and fill out our adoption application and bring it with you!

2.

Submit Application

Follow instructions given on our website on how to submit our application.

3.

Home Check

Please send photos of your yard, fencing, and areas the pet would be spending the most time to our email to start the home check process.

4.

Meet the Pet

Once your application approved, bring the family to meet them your new pet! We will also do dog meet and greets during this visit!

Additional adoption info

Kitten/Cat adoption fees are $75 - $95
Adult Dog adoption fees are $165 and up
Puppy adoption fees are $300 and up
Potential adopters should be prepared to come into the shelter to fill out paperwork. If they are renters, a copy of their lease showing that pets are allowed is required. For dogs and puppies, a house visit is made before any adoption is finalized.

The Rogue Valley Humane Society is dedicated to providing compassionate shelter and care to stray, unwanted and abandoned cats and dogs in Josephine County. Founded as a non-profit organization with the belief that every animal is worthy of respect and protection, RVHS is committed to placing animals in lifetime homes, teaching responsible pet guardianship. We also TNR at our Spay / Neuter clinic in addition to maintaining community spay-neuter programs to help end pet overpopulation.
