Hi, I'm Pumpkin!

Pumpkin gets her name from the bright orange cast she wore for several weeks while she healed a broken leg. Found injured at five weeks old, she immediately showed her sweet personality. Now three months old and healed, she has a little hitch in her giddy-up but nothing slows her down. She is very sociable, loves belly rubs, and let's you know when it is dinner time. She enjoys being around her humans and other cats but can entertain herself if everyone else is busy or napping. She loves tunnels and toys and catnip treats. This little girl will make a very pleasant companion.

Pumpkin says...I'm a sweet, friendly kitten who loves to play. My days are filled with chasing shadows and pouncing on invisible foes. I'm a gentle soul, often found cuddling up for a nap after my playful antics. I may have had a broken leg once, but that's all healed now, and it doesn't stop me from running around with joy. I'm quite the comedian too, my funny antics will keep you entertained. But at the end of the day, my loyalty shines through. I'll be your faithful friend, always there to keep you company. I hope you'll consider making me a part of your family. I promise to fill your home with laughter, love, and lots of purrs.

Submit Application

Completely fill out the adoption application so that we can find the best forever home for the kitty.

2.
Interview

Coordinate by phone, after a complete adoption application review.

3.
Meet the Pet

Coordinate by phone for an appointment with foster, after adoption application review.

Additional adoption info

Cat Adoption fee $100 to $160 (unless otherwise specified): includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, combo test and de-worming

Dog Adoption fee of 200.00 includes all vetting and microchip.

Applicant must fill out application and go through approval process.

E-rescue-Houston is a non-profit, no kill rescue group. Most of our animals come from kill shelters in and around the Houston area. All of our kittens, cats & dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on their shots. We operate only on a small adoption fee and donations from the public.
