Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes
Location: CSHS Foster Home
Tucker is as sweet as they get! While he is shy he will always come out of hiding when he is found, he just needs some encouragement.
He loves to get pets, purr, and make biscuits. If you have a nice soft blanket he will snuggle right into your lap and won’t leave. He does well with children and isn't phased by cat saavy dogs. Tucker loves other cats and would thrive in a multi-cat household.
He doesn't not claw on furniture or carpet and is not a vocal boy at all. He is a pro at using his litter box. I think he'd thrive in a quiet home with someone who wants a lap cat and has all the love to give to a cat companion.
Tucker is about 2.5 years old and is neutered. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and is microchipped.
To meet Tucker please fill out an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society Website!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
