My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes
Location: CSHS Foster Home

Meet Luna, a beautiful 2-year-old all-white cat with a gentle, reserved personality. Snowflake may start off a little shy, taking her time to adjust to new people and environments. However, once she feels comfortable and safe, her affectionate side shines through. She loves to be gently pet and enjoys quiet, cozy spots where she can relax and observe her surroundings. Luna may not be the first to seek attention, but when she does, her soft purrs and sweet demeanor will melt your heart. With a little patience and understanding, she'll quickly become your loyal companion, rewarding you with her tender love. Luna would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel secure and slowly build a bond with her new family. If you're looking for a serene and loving cat who needs time to trust, Luna is ready to find her forever home. Luna also does amazing with other kitties and would prefer to have another cat companion in the home.

Luna is about 2 years old and spayed. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.

In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.

CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
