Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adoption Fee: $200, plus taxes
Location: CSHS adoption & wellness center
Meet Tora, a sweet and affectionate young adult tortoiseshell cat with a heart full of love! Tora is a friendly, but initially shy kitty who gets along wonderfully with other felines and enjoys the company of her fellow kitties. She's always up for a game of chase or a friendly cuddle pile, making her the perfect addition to a multi-cat household. Tora has a playful side, and you'll often catch her batting at toys or exploring her surroundings with curiosity. Despite her fun-loving nature, she's also a sweetheart who loves attention from her human companions, always ready to curl up next to you for some well-earned snuggles. If you're looking for a friendly girl who may need just a little extra time to settle in but is wonderful when comfortable Tora could be perfect for you.
Tora is about 1.5 years old and is spayed. She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.
To meet Tora please fill out an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society website!

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
