My story

Hi I`m Charlie.
I`m a young energetic guy with lots of love to give. I have lived my life outside up until now but I could definitely learn how to be an inside dog. I WANT to be an inside boy. I`m the type of guy who wants to be right beside you as much as possible. I`m learning not to jump up, you can literally see the cogs twirling in my brain when I think about jumping but then think better of it.
I seem to really like dogs but they should be tolerant as I don`t have a lot of manners with them yet. I am looking for a patient adopter who can teach me all of the workings of this indoor dog life and who wants to do lots of fun things with me!

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
