Meet Mae!

Mae is a 10 month old (born Jan 2024) female DMH grey & white kitten. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed.

Mae is a delightful kitten with a heart as big as her personality! This little lady is as sweet as they come, always ready to show her affection with a gentle purr or a playful pounce. Despite her shy nature, Mae's friendly demeanor shines through in no time, making her a joy to be around. She loves other kitties and is great with kids. She hasn't met a dog but we think she'd do well with respectful dogs, making her an excellent companion for pretty much anyone! Her shy yet friendly disposition is sure to melt hearts and bring joy to her new home.

Step 3: Landlord Check
Step 4: Vet Check
Step 5: Home Visit
Step 6: Adoption!

As we are a rescue group, we don't have a shelter, just loving foster homes throughout Muskoka. Please contact us to make an appointment to see an animal.

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
