My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buena Vista, a young, sweet, and somewhat shy canine who has a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with energy. Despite his shyness, Buena Vista quickly warms up to those who show him kindness and patience. His energetic nature makes him the perfect companion for long walks, fun games, and endless adventures. His sweetness shines through in the gentle wag of his tail and the loving gaze in his eyes. Buena Vista`s young age promises a long future of companionship and love. His shyness and energy make him a dog with a unique personality that will undoubtedly enrich the life of his future family. Adopt Buena Vista, and bring home a bundle of sweetness, shyness, and energy that will add joy to your every day.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
