Hi! Nice to meet you!! My name is Freckles and I am the only girl left of my sibling group waiting to be adopted! I’m here looking for my forever family! I am hoping that my adorable, freckled face will be enough to win over somebody’s heart!

I am about 12 weeks old now, born approximately on or around July 20th. I came into care at 3 weeks old where I was fostered by both a mama cat and a human! I am grateful they worked as a team to raise me after I lost my own mom.

I’m a curious little kitten who likes to play and explore. Foster mama says I have the sweetest little personality. I’ve been raised with other cats, dogs, and kids, and I really enjoy playing with my chihuahua friend! I would be happy to be adopted as a single kitty, or into a home with another friendly cat or dog, or even with one of my siblings! I’m happy to go with the flow!

If you’re looking for an adventurous little kitty friend, look no further than me!

Freckles is up to date on relevant vaccines, litter trained, and spayed.

More about this rescue

Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for dogs from the dog sledding industry. We also extend our reach locally by rescuing stray dogs and cats from Indigenous communities that we partner with.

Our rescue began saving street dogs and cats, AKA Baladis, in Egypt. Since the important on animals ban implemented in 2022, we are no longer allowed to bring animals into Canada from Egypt. Our efforts, however, expand globally, as we continue to help support the placement of Baladi's in Egyptian shelters.
