I brought Oliver into our family as a special gift for my daughter, who absolutely adores cats. Sadly, Oliver lost his mom at just four weeks old, and we took him in, bottle-feeding him and showering him with love. Ever since, he’s been a beloved member of our family. Oliver loves basking in the sun on our patio and has developed a quirky habit of sleeping in small spaces like boxes, bags, and suitcases. He’s also litter trained, enjoys cuddling, and has a playful side—his favorite pastime is chasing after rolled-up socks.
Unfortunately, my son has developed a severe allergy to cats, which is causing his asthma to worsen. He has had multiple hospital visits due to asthma attacks, and we only recently learned through allergy testing that he’s allergic to cats. Despite our best efforts, his asthma attacks are becoming more frequent and severe. As much as it breaks our hearts, we’ve realized that the only option is to find a new, loving home for Oliver where he can continue to thrive.
