Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update 11/26/24...They have arrived!!! The 4 Irish Setters are now with us here in rescue. The male is to the far right in the picture and the smallest female is the one laying down. All of them have a sweet disposition and are happy to be with us. They have a birth date of 10/12/23. They are extremely sweet, a bit fearful from lack of love, and on the thin side. We did have one scheduled for a spay or neuter tomorrow, however we have decided to let them settle in before dragging them back out for surgery..... Please know the 4 coming in are around a year old, they will need manners taught to them. I'm sure they have lived in kennels in a barn or outside housing. Once they are here with us in rescue they will be in a heated facility and have a soft bed, toys, treats, and have access to their very own doggy door with their own play yards. They will have their first bath every and see our vet for their full vetting. We normally only are able to get one spay/neuter a week unless there is another opening from someone canceling and then we are able to take that appointment as well. We will work on getting their spays/neuters done ASAP so we can get them placed in their forever homes and started on living their best life ever. Please know you will be required to have the spay/neuter done within that 30 days if adopted prior to being spayed/neutered. If you are interested in their adoption please text or email us to request an application. Please be sure to check your spam box for our reply. Thank you!

Additional adoption info
We do require an application/contract to be filled out and approved prior to scheduling to meet our rescues. All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered before adoption. If they are under 6 months of age they will go home on a spay/neuter contract that states they will have to be altered no later then 6 months of age. All adoption fees go towards the care of our homeless animals. The next heartworm positive dog that comes in, those strays that are dumped out and hit by a passing car, sick puppies, spays for those poor mommy dogs who have had a litter of pups every heat season, and any of those special needs babies who may need medications for the rest of their lives. All adoption fees do vary.

Go meet their pets
All of our adoptions are by scheduled appointment only. We do not have open adoption hours. You must have an approved application prior to scheduling an appointment. We are located in Denver Indiana 46926. We. Do require all potential adopters to come to us to adopt. We do not meet with our rescues as we like the adopter to meet the rescues in an environment they are use to being in so they feel safe.

More about this rescue
We are a home based rescue with a heated and air conditioned adoption center that the rescues are very well cared for in. They all have large inside spaces where they are very comfortable, with doggy doors leading to their play yards outside. We do not crate or cage any of our rescues. They are on free feed and water and in the warm months everyone has a pool in their play yard to enjoy if they like. We work with several rescues to help transport, find fosters, or help make room by moving dogs to other no kill rescues/shelters. We would like to send a special THANK YOU out to all the wonderful rescues we have been working with in the past 16 years. You are all wonderful people and do a GREAT JOB. We all know how much time and hard work it takes to rescue an animal, let alone many homeless babies. Good luck to you all in rescue. We would also like to thank anyone and everyone who has adopted a pet, wether it was one of Forever Paws pups or any other rescue. All of these homeless animals need a forever home and its wonderful there are people who adopt.
