Take the Pet Home
Dorian is a beautiful girl we think is around a year old. She was found outside wandering the streets of Trenton all alone and brought into the shelter so she would be safe. She's very sad that at only a year old she's already lost the only home she had (we have no idea how this beauty got outside- likely dumped). We hope someone will put a smile on her face and adopt her soon and give her the forever home she deserves to have.
Unfortunately, Dorian must have had a hard time in her past with a human that may have been not so nice to her. She is so very friendly, reaching her nose out when you put your hand in front of her. She gives gentle nuzzles and kisses and allows you to touch her cheeks if she trusts you. But she’s not comfortable yet allowing pets, and will gently put her teeth around your hand in warning if you try to pet her. Because of this, she needs to go to a home where there are no small children. Her foster mom is working with her every day, but she will need an adopter who is very patient with her. We are hopeful someone special will take the time to win her over. She really is a very sweet girl who deserves a wonderful, safe home where she can overcome her wariness.
If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!
