Meet Sixx, a super calm and laid-back 4-year-old weighing in around 70 pounds. 🐾 This gentle giant is the perfect family dog, combining a love for snuggling with kids and an easy-going nature that makes her a joy to have around. 🥰 Sixx enjoys car rides and is known for her gentle demeanor, rarely barking and always eager to please. 🚗 She’s fantastic on a leash, walking calmly and not getting distracted by other dogs, making short walks a pleasant experience for both of you. 🐕
Sixx is incredibly respectful and plays nicely with her foster (dog) siblings, taking cues from them and fitting in seamlessly. 🐶 She’s got a sweet spot for tummy rubs and will often roll onto her back to invite you to give her some love. 🤭 Though she occasionally has potty accidents, her laid-back nature more than makes up for it. 🛋️ Sixx is also a bit of a couch potato, thinking she’s small enough to be a lap dog and loving every moment of snuggle time. 🤍
Her interactions with children are heartwarming, as she’s not phased by their hugs and petting, showing a gentle and patient side. 🧑🧑🧒🧒 Sixx is submissive and easy-going, making her an ideal companion for families with kids and other pets. 🌟 Whether it’s a quiet evening at home or a fun car ride, Sixx is always ready to join in and spread her calm, loving energy.
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easy-going furry friend, Sixx could be the perfect addition to your family! 🐶💕

Additional adoption info
Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
