Who is this handsome fellow, you ask? Well, this is our one and only Orson, and he is 100% as cute in pyrson as he is in the pictures! This young boy has the bestest pyrsonality to go with his looks - Orson is simply the sweetest, most easy-going pup, who will win you over in a heartbeat. He’s friendly with everyone he meets! Just like any young boy his age, Orson loves to play, and he will try his best to entice you to play with him. Be warned though, it is kind of impawssible to resist his zest for life! - One look at his goofy face and you are bound to join in whatever game he has in mind. On the other hand, Orson is also the bestest TV buddy! If you want to binge the latest series, or just curl up with a good book, Orson will gladly hang out with you. Orson has an innate desire to please his people, which makes training time equally fun for both parties - well, pawssibly more fun for Orson if you have his favorite treats (Milkbone Beef Soft Chews, and Grillers!). This smart guy walks well on leash and already knows “sit.” He is more fond of the lady dogs and would do well with a female canine companion, or as an only dog. Orson would love a fenced-in yard where he can run and play (5’ chain link or privacy is pyrfect). He doesn’t dig, and is an average Pyr barker, not excessive. Orson is an all-around easy-going, go-anywhere, do-anything kind of pup, who will easily worm his way into your heart. So hurry up and hit send on that application!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
We may consider fostering for some of our dogs who are in boarding. Please visit Fostering FAQfor an application and information about our fostering program.
