When a farm family with too many cats asked for help, TC Paw took in two adult cats and lots of kittens, including Willow and her little ones, and placed them in a TC Paw foster home. The farmer’s children had played with the cats, so they are social and eager for human interaction. Though all were underweight and needed vet attention, Willow was loving, confident and affectionate from the start. She gets along well with the other mom cat in the foster home, going to her for rubs and grooming. She’s a good mother, checking often on her kittens as well as the other mama’s kittens, and even playing with them at times. Willow acclimated easily to being an indoor cat. She has not hidden once or hissed out of fear. Her foster family says she’s “one of the sweetest, friendliest cats” they’ve met. She is quick to jump out of her carrier at the vet and loves meeting new people and asking for pets! She loves to be held like a baby and have her cheeks rubbed. She hasn’t met the family dog yet, but she watches him through the glass door and seems interested. When he barks at squirrels, she doesn't flinch or run away. Some indoor noises, like the vacuum, the bag of cat food, or a cardboard box being opened, startle her, but she’s quick to come out and explore where the noise came from.
Willow is a pretty cat who must be seen in person to appreciate. Her foster family says she is one of a kind, and you can’t meet her without wanting to adopt her.
