My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, I'm Yonah.
I'm a Hound/Catahoula mix with a heart as big as my breed suggests. I've been told I'm sweet and mellow, and I think that's a pretty fair assessment, maybe when I'm not pleading with my friends to take me on a walk! I was named after the Mount Yonah trail. I enjoy the simple things in life - a good nap, a gruff cuddle, the occasional treat, and maybe a nice leisurely hike? My previous home stated that I am potty trained and lived with multiple children over 4. Did I mention that I also lived with cats?! Yup! I did well with them, so you could say I am a well rounded guy. I'm just a laid-back dude who loves companionship and adventure. I was asked what my wish for Christmas would be and I've been thinking that it may be a nice long walk one of my favorite volunteers, or maybe with you? While we walking into out new home? I'm hoping this holiday season I'll see you at CCAS!🌲
