My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kevin, a laid-back and friendly cat who enjoys the simple pleasures in life. While he may be a little on the lazy side, Kevin loves to spend time outdoors, lounging in the sun or casually strolling around the yard. His favorite moments are when he can bask in the warmth of the day, occasionally poking around to see what’s new in his little world.

Kevin has stomatitis, an autoimmune disorder that causes a painful reaction to plaque, which meant most of Kevin's teeth had to be extracted- but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying his snacks! With his sweet and easygoing nature, Kevin is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a chill friend who loves a good nap as much as he loves an outdoor adventure.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Fees vary with special adoption events, but our standard adoption fee for an individual adult cat, between the ages of 6 months to 7 years, is $75. An adoption interest form/application and contract must be filled out by all adopters.
No adoptions are approved without visiting the shelter in person. Interest or application for adoption is not a guarantee. Volunteers attempt to match cats with an appropriate home setting/family, and adoptions are not first come, first serve.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, almost all of our adoptable animals are in foster homes. In most cases it is not possible to visit cats in the shelter.
