Hi there, I am a handsome brown and white purebred Standard Parti Poodle born on 12/20/23 making me almost 1 year old and I currently weigh 44 lbs. I was living in Texas with my owner when she became ill and gave me to her brother, who gave me to a friend who surrendered me to 4 Little Paws Rescue because I was too young and playful for her senior dog. I have gone through so many hands at this point that I’m not sure where I live and who I’m supposed to fall in love with, so I am looking for a real honest-to-goodness forever home. I am vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and I'm a sweetheart!
Despite my confusing past, I am a happy boy who makes friends easily with everyone young and old, and am great with other dogs. I am very playful, learning to play fetch, catch, sit, and wait, and am proving myself to be one smart boy! I am extremely affectionate, desperately wanting someone to love and bond with, and will follow you everywhere, share kisses, and jump up and down when I see you walk in. I am a good boy, rarely bark, potty trained, and basically crate trained, although I would like a treat when asked to go in. I LOVE to go on walks and LOVE to go on rides in the car. Any adventure we can go on together would make me the happiest boy in town! I hear the Eastern Seaboard is the place to be, so inquire about me today and bring me home!
* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.

We specialize in saving small to medium breed types and re-homing in the North East where there is less unwanted dog overflow and a high volume of qualified adopters.
