Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Susie and Chili are a bonded pair of 3 year old female guinea pigs who came to us when their owner could no longer keep them.
Susie is the adorable abysinnian in gorgeous shades of brown and tan. Chili, true to her name, is the bright red crested.
Chili is the bolder of the two girls, always begging for treats and attention. Susie follows very closely behind, though, and has a calmer personality. Both girls love their cozy fleece beds, fresh veggies, and being the center of your world. They are used to the bustle of a busy household with multiple piggies, and would do well as a pair or joining a herd of existing piggies.
Susie's teeth are mildly wonky. On one side, the upper tooth is longer and the bottom shorter, and the reverse on the other side. According to our veterinarian, it is not currently an issue requiring dental surgery and it may never become one, but adopters should be able and willing to check her teeth regularly and monitor her eating habits, as if things change she may have trouble eating. Susie (and Chili too) has been seen at Valley View Pet Hospital in Burnsville and adopters can continue her care there, or bring her to another guinea pig experienced vet that the adopter prefers.
We can meet within 1 hour of Minneapolis or Lakeville, MN for adoptions. Potentially further- please inquire and we can discuss!
