Meet Scottie Puppen, the perfect family companion! Scottie is a sweet, playful dog who gets along with everyone-he's great with spirited young children under 5, dogs of all sizes, and he's already house trained.
Scottie loves to show off his speed at the dog park, where he can chase down a ball faster than you can throw it! He's friendly and sociable with all dogs he meets, making him a great playmate. When it's time to wind down, Scottie happily sleeps through the night on his dog bed or the couch and seems to be calm when left home alone. He's also an exceptionally quiet dog-he's yet to let out a bark, making him perfect for those who prefer a peaceful home.
This gentle soul knows how to be playful while still being considerate of small humans and taking treats with care. Scottie is a quick learner who already knows basic commands like sit, lay down, paw, and stay. He walks nicely on a harness leash and takes direction well.
Scottie enjoys his independence and does great when left unsupervised in the laundry room with his dog bed, making him a low-maintenance and adaptable companion. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Services such as our Low-Cost Vaccination, Dental, and Spay/Neuter Clinics offer affordable veterinary care options, preventing owners from having to give up their pets simply because they can’t afford care. On the horizon are additional programs to keep pets in homes, such as a pet food pantry, affordable pet training options, and temporary housing for pets when families are in crisis.
