My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What are your favorite fall flavors? Well, we find both Maple and Chai to be pretty irresistible! These festive ladies came to us through our ACS Casa Program, seemingly healthy but needing a cozy place to lie and a person to cuddle with. We were immediately taken by their kind spirit and good manners. Maple and Chai are Australian Cattle Dog/ Retriever Mixes, which means they will be medium-sized companions with gentle and loyal demeanors. These girls, while shy at first, will enjoy a nice crisp walk and snuggles by the fire. When it's time for bed, Maple and Chai don't make a peep through the night and know how to keep their space clean. Grab your cup of holiday cheer- Apply to meet one or both of these girls!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
