Best Guess for Age: 7 months old DOB: 4/11/24. SEX: male

Approximate Weight: 7lbs 12 oz

Coloring: Brown Tabby Type of Hair: Short

Gets Along With: With proper integration, Dougie will likely get along with other cats, dogs, and kids.

Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area!

I am Looking For: My forever home! Hi- I'm Dougie - a gorgeous kitty. I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my amazing self.

What My Foster Says About Me: Dougie would make a wonderful family kitty. He is super active and loves to play. But he also loves to cuddle. He adapts easily and isn’t shy when meeting new people. He has no problem with kitties and because of his personality, I assume he’ll be fine around dogs. Come meet him at the foster’s home and you’ll fall in love.

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats will be $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
