My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tanta is a 7 year old Bengal. She is a retired breeder who was surrendered due to being picked on by the other resident cats which was causing her to hide from everyone. Tanta is a very shy, submissive girl who needs a quiet home to relax and be herself. She would be fine as an only cat but could live with another respectful, mellow cat and she didn't seem to mind the resident dog. Tanta does not like to be held and is looking for an adult only home. She has been spayed, tested negative for FelV/FIV and is up to date on all vaccines. Apply to adopt at www.companimals.org. Adoption $300.

Go meet their pets

Our shelter has visiting hours - Wed through Sat from noon 'til 5 p.m. You're welcome anytime we're open.
Most our our dogs live in foster homes, and will likely not be at the shelter unless arrangements are made ahead of time.
We do hold monthly "Meet and Greets" at local pet stores, but here, as well, to meet a specific dog arrangements should be made in advance so that
your potential new best friend can be there waiting to meet you.

More about this rescue

CompAnimals Pet Rescue is a small not-for-profit "no kill" rescue. Our mission is to take in unwanted, abandoned or abused dogs, cats and other small pets; to place those we can in loving, permanent homes; and to provide a sanctuary for the animals whose age, health issues or temperament precludes them from adoption. Our dogs & cats are neutered, vaccinated and receive all necessary medical treatment beford being made available for adoption. Through our volunteers and outreach programs we educate the next generation about the importance of spay/neuter and giving a lifelong home to their pets. We hope to one day put ourselves out of business but until then we will continue to rescue regardless of breed, age or medical condition.
