Prince Charming by name, Prince Charming by nature! This affectionate, playful, and goofy guy loves attention and wants to be wherever his humans are. His favourite activities are looking out the window, getting face rubs, watching his humans do tasks, playing with his wand toy, and running around!
Prince was rescued as a stray in pretty rough shape. He is loving the indoor life but is still learning to be petted and to trust humans, so he may occasionally swat or hiss at you if he’s scared or not in the mood to be handled. However, he won’t hold a grudge and will be your friend again right after. In fact, he loves companionship, so he will need an adopter(s) who is home often and can give him the daily interaction he craves.
Prince has been diagnosed with idiopathic cystitis, and he will need to stay on a special urinary diet. It does not seem to bother him but he will need to be monitored to make sure he stays a happy chappy. He also needs to drink lots of water (which he’s good at) and have water mixed in with his food.
He will greet you at the door when you get home, loves to rub against your legs, and will paw at or headbutt your hand if he wants extra fuss. He will briefly sit on your lap, but prefers to sleep next to you. He is confident around new people and will share his affections.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
